| 11 Mar 2004 | Astri Snodgrass | Beautiful! I'd add some more detail and/or shading in the wings and make the background slightly darker. The figure is beautiful. What is he holding? (it's a guy, right?) ~stridge~Thank you very much for the comment. I don't think I really want to change anything in the picture. I like how the wings are not very defined and everything is light - it makes it dream-like and not too realistic. Angels usually appeared in form of young men or youths in shining light, so yeah that'd make it a 'him'. He's holding a shining pearl in his hand. | |
| 11 Aug 2004 | Sajaca | Is that a gash on his cheek? And i like his staff. It does look like it, doesn't it? It wasn't initially intended and is a result of actual damage to the finished drawing. Hmmm... perhaps whoever this angel is guarding is not a very kind person. | |
| 14 Mar 2008 | Natalie Adams | what people seem to forget is that, in their job, guardians take the pain and hurt...whilst protecting us, they pay for our sins... Natalia Nikitin replies: "I don’t know about ’paying’, but I doubt we fill them with joy with half the things that we do. Hm." | |
